Born 2nd of 5 children with a very large extended family; - married 37 years [not for lack of trying to mess it up] and with four children to keep up with, I am continually fascinated by the ongoing, continual, ever-changing dynamics of the family!
I hold a Master of Science in Social Work with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Louisville. My work has been presented at the National and State Level. I am a Certified EFT Therapist specializing in Couples Care. I work with individuals, couples, families and groups to create a safe, confidential and trusting relationship where we work together to solve life's many challenges. My experience includes, but is not limited to working with children and adolescent behavioral challenges, parenting difficulties, couples work, infidelity, family life transitions, grief and loss, sexual abuse including adult survivors, and trauma work. Couples Counseling from an Emotionally Focused perspective is a specialization I hold.
